Blue Sky Pet Resort is a pet boarding business in Hochatown, where it is known locally as a place for dogs to stay while their people are away. The business is associated with Sylvia Murphy and is mentioned in local conversation as a boarding option for cabin guests needing care for their pets.

Its appeal comes from that straightforward purpose: dependable overnight care for dogs in a tourist-heavy corner of southeast Oklahoma. The name itself suggests a calm, open setting, and the business is remembered as a practical stop for travelers who want their dogs looked after while they enjoy the area. The resort’s boarding setup is the detail that stays with you: a place built for dogs to settle in, rest, and wait out the trip in comfort.
