Hochatown Library is a community library in Hochatown, offering a public place for readers and residents to connect with books, local history, and library services. It is also known for its work with OSU Libraries on the Hochatown Elder History Archives, preserving oral histories from elders of original Hochatown.

The library’s profile is shaped by that history project, which gives it a deeper role than a standard lending space: it serves as a keeper of memory for the community and a place where local stories are gathered and safeguarded. That sense of purpose adds weight to the everyday experience of the library, where shelves, records, and archives come together in a setting centered on shared heritage and steady public access to information. The Hochatown Elder History Archives stands as a concrete reminder of that mission.
