Idabel Fall Fest Chili Cookoff
The Idabel Fall Fest Chili Cookoff is on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in front of the Carl Sherman Plaza in downtown Idabel. Tasting is $5 for all you can eat. Teams pay $20 to enter and must bring their own way to heat chili on site. Set up starts at 7 AM, tasting opens at 9 AM and judging is at 12 noon. The grand prize is $100 and the runner up gets $50, with ties splitting the prize. Bring your own chairs. The cookoff is sponsored by Farmers Bank & Trust and the Idabel Fire Department.
