Team Chahta Girls Softball Tryouts
Team Chahta is looking for Chahta (Choctaw) girls to play fastpitch softball, and tryouts are Saturday, October 24 at Choctaw Fields in Broken Bow. The team will make its first trip to the World Fastpitch Classic in Waxahachie, Texas, in July 2027. Each age group gets a two-hour tryout: 6U and 8U from 9 to 11 AM, 10U and 12U from 11 AM to 1 PM, 14U and 16U from 1 to 3 PM, and 18U from 3 to 5 PM. Arrive at least one hour before your tryout to check in and warm up, and bring your CDIB or tribal membership card. You can register ahead of time or on the day of the tryout.
