Talihina • LeFlore County
Why Is There No DoorDash or Food Delivery in Talihina?
Short answer: the delivery apps only show restaurants that have signed up and drivers who are working nearby, and in a town Talihina's size that is often nobody. Local delivery does exist: Smoking Guns Pizza at 201 Emmert St delivers Tuesday through Saturday. Order at smokinggunspizza.com or call (918) 470-5810.
Food delivery in Talihina
The short answer
DoorDash and Uber Eats only work where local restaurants have joined the app and enough drivers are signed on close by. In a small town like Talihina that often isn't the case, so the apps can come up empty even though they cover the area on paper.
The local option is Smoking Guns Pizza, 201 Emmert St, which does its own delivery. Its website lists delivery Tuesday 10:30 AM to 8 PM, Wednesday 10:30 AM to 5:15 PM, and Thursday through Saturday 10:30 AM to 8 PM, closed Sunday and Monday. Order online at smokinggunspizza.com or call (918) 470-5810, and ask if they reach your address if you live out of town.
On Sundays and Mondays, or for something other than pizza, El Rancho Mexican Grill, Subway and AJ Butcher Block all make quick pickup easy.

How the delivery apps work in a small town
DoorDash and Uber Eats show only the restaurants that have signed up with them, and only when a driver is working close enough to take the order. When few restaurants or drivers in a town are on the app, it shows nothing nearby or only far-off places.
DoorDash does keep a Talihina page, so put your exact address in the app now and then to see what turns up. Restaurant owners who want to be on the apps can sign up on DoorDash and Uber Eats' merchant sites, and anyone who wants to drive can sign up as a driver, which is how service starts in small towns.
